Prague
Prague is home to Charles University, founded in 1348 and the oldest university in Central Europe, with two English-taught medical faculties in the capital (First and Third Faculty of Medicine). The First Faculty alone is affiliated with the General University Hospital, one of the largest in the country, giving students clinical rotations across dozens of departments from year three. For Indian students, Prague offers the strongest brand name on a CV, the largest international student community in the country, direct flights connecting to India via major European hubs, and the widest choice of Indian restaurants and grocery stores of any Czech city. The degree, an EU-recognised MUDr., carries the weight of a university that has produced Nobel laureates including Carl and Gerty Cori.
