futureMBBS takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address, or e-mail address) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Automatic Data Storage

Nowadays, when you visit websites, certain information is automatically created and stored, including on this website.

When you visit our website, our web server (the computer on which this website is stored) automatically saves data such as the IP address of your device, the addresses of the sub-pages visited, details of your browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, ...), and the date and time. We do not use this data and generally do not pass it on, but we cannot rule out the possibility that this data may be viewed in the event of unlawful behaviour.

What Personal Data We Collect and Why

Contact Forms

The data that you voluntarily provide to us via our contact form is used to send you our free information packages by post. Without the collection of your personal data (such as name and address), it would not be possible to send the documents by post. We therefore only use your personal data to process the services offered on this website. If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. In the course of ordering the info package, you also agree that we, futureMBBS, may use your data in the future for advertising purposes (e.g. advertising for info events) including advertising by post.

We do not pass on your personal data that you send us via our contact form, including your address and e-mail address, to third parties without your express consent, which can be revoked at any time. Excluded from this are our service partners who require the transmission of data for order processing (e.g. the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, as well as our partner companies). In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the necessary minimum.

How Long We Store Your Data

Your personal data will be stored by us for 2 years. If you wish, we can delete your data immediately at any time.

If we are obliged to store data for a longer period of time according to Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c) DSGVO due to tax and commercial law retention and documentation obligations (from HGB, StGB, or AO), if we have an overriding legitimate interest in storing data beyond this, or if you have consented to storage beyond this period according to Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO, these periods are decisive.

What Rights You Have to Your Data

If you send us enquiries via contact forms, you can request an export of your personal data with us, including all data you have provided to us. In addition, you can request the deletion of all personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain due to administrative, legal, or security needs.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics. This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account, or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

Within the framework of Google AdWords, we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking; they learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag, but receive no information that can be used to personally identify users. Third-Party Services

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website. Google Fonts are used without authentication and no cookies are sent to the Google Fonts API. If you have an account with Google, none of your Google account data will be transmitted to Google during the use of Google Fonts. YouTube

We use the video service YouTube on this site, provided by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

By calling up pages of our website that have integrated YouTube videos, data is transmitted to YouTube, stored, and evaluated.

If you have a YouTube account and are logged in, this data will be assigned to your personal account and the data stored in it. You can find out what data is collected by Google and what it is used for in Google's privacy policy.

Facebook Pixel

Within our online offer, the so-called "Facebook pixel" of the social network Facebook is used, operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us that is played on Facebook, an addition is added to the URL of our linked page by Facebook Pixel. If our site allows data to be shared with Facebook via Pixel, this URL parameter is inscribed in the user's browser via a cookie that our linked site sets itself. This cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel and enables the data to be forwarded to Facebook. In addition, the hashed and encrypted e-mail address of the user is transferred to Facebook after completion of the purchase.

With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook can determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements ("Facebook ads"). We use the Facebook pixel to display our Facebook ads only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics we transmit to Facebook ("Custom Audiences"). We also use it to evaluate the effectiveness of our Facebook ads by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad ("conversion").

The data collected is anonymous for us, so we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible, in accordance with Facebook's data usage policy. The data processing is carried out on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

Facebook Conversions

We also use "Facebook conversions", operated by Facebook Ireland Limited. Where explicit consent is given, this allows the behaviour of users to be tracked after they have seen or clicked on an advertisement on Facebook, to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads. Only a hashed, encrypted e-mail address and a browser ID cookie are transferred to Facebook. This processing is carried out on the basis of consent under Art. 6 (1) lit. a) DSGVO.

TikTok

We use the "TikTok pixel" of TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited (Aviation House, 125 Kingsway Holborn, London, WC2B 6NH) on this website. When you visit our website, a connection is established with TikTok's servers to track your behaviour, if you have given your express consent. Personal information such as your IP address, email address, device ID, device type, and operating system may be transferred to TikTok, which uses this data to display targeted advertising and create interest-based user profiles.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). It collects data from your visit to our website — including URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties, and timestamp — to generate anonymous reports on website visitors and ad performance, and to enable retargeting on LinkedIn. Microsoft Bing Ads and UET

We use the conversion tracking of Microsoft Corporation (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). If you access our website via a Microsoft Bing ad, Bing Ads stores a cookie on your computer so we can recognise that someone clicked on the ad and reached a target page. No personal information about your identity is disclosed. You can decline this via your browser's cookie settings, or via Microsoft's ad settings. We also use Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET), which creates pseudonymous usage profiles from data collected via a Bing UET tag and cookie — including time spent on the website and which areas were accessed — without collecting information about your identity. This data is transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA and stored for a maximum of 180 days. Microsoft may also use cross-device tracking to display personalised ads; you can opt out here.

Vimeo

Our website uses plugins from the video portal Vimeo, provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. When you visit a page with a Vimeo plugin, a connection is established with Vimeo's servers, which obtain your IP address even if you are not logged in to Vimeo.

Hotjar

We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimise the experience on this website. Hotjar's technology helps us understand how users interact with the site (e.g. time spent, links clicked) using cookies and other technologies that collect data such as the device's IP address (collected anonymously), screen size, device type, browser information, country, and preferred language. HubSpot

We use HubSpot (2nd Floor, 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland) for our online marketing activities, including email marketing, social media publishing and reporting, contact management, and landing pages/contact forms. Information you submit through our sign-up forms, together with our website content, is stored on HubSpot's servers and used to contact visitors and determine which of our services interest them.

We also use HubSpot's live chat service "Messages" on some subpages. If you use it, the content of your chat messages, contextual information (e.g. the page you chatted from), and optionally your e-mail address are transmitted to HubSpot's servers. The legal basis for using HubSpot is our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO in optimising our marketing and service quality.

Trustpilot

We use the review portal Trustpilot to publish reviews from our customers. For this purpose, we pass on your email address, first name, and an internal booking number to Trustpilot A/S, Trommesalen 5, 3. sal, 1614 Copenhagen, Denmark. Participation is voluntary; reviews are published on Trustpilot's websites and potentially in Google search results. ClickCease

We use the "ClickCease" service of Karniboo Technologies Limited (Elifelet St. 26, 66080 Tel Aviv, Israel) to analyse and prevent click fraud on our Google advertisements. During this analysis, cookies are stored on your device, and the following data is collected when you click on an advertisement:

• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data may be processed and stored outside the European Union. SSL Encryption

For the purpose of arranging study places and providing support in placing orders for study place placement, we process data as set out below.

II. Contact by Interested Parties, Information Documents

1. Description and scope of data processing: For the purpose of processing enquiries from interested parties and providing information, we collect: salutation, first name, last name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and date of birth.
2. Purpose of the processing: The data is collected and processed for the purpose of answering your enquiries and transmitting requested information.
3. Legal basis for the processing: The permissibility of collecting personal data from interested parties is regularly based on Article 6 (1)(f) DSGVO until a contract is concluded. A pre-contractual obligation arises at the latest when the order form is issued, so Article 6 (1)(b) DSGVO then also applies.
4. Duration of storage: Your personal data will be stored by us for 2 years. If you wish, we can delete your data immediately at any time, subject to statutory tax and commercial retention obligations under Article 6 (1)(c) DSGVO, or an overriding legitimate interest or consent under Article 6 (1)(a) DSGVO.
5. Disclosure of data to third parties: Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties other than those mentioned for the purposes listed. For the purpose of responding to enquiries, we reserve the right to pass on the information you have provided to a service company, which may only use it for the purposes stated.

III. Application Phase

1. Description and scope of data processing: For the purpose of organising your application to universities, we collect: salutation, first name, last name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, name at birth, date and place of birth, citizenship, gender, relationship status, passport number, main residence, name/address/year of secondary school graduation, details of any incomplete degree programmes, the name and maiden name of your mother and father, and copies of your school leaving certificate, birth certificate, medical examination, and passport with passport photos.
2. Purpose of the processing: The data is collected and processed for the purpose of applying to universities in fulfilment of contractual obligations.
3. Legal basis for the processing: The permissibility of collecting this data is based on Article 6 (1)(b) DSGVO, in fulfilment of our contractual obligation.
4. Duration of storage: Your personal data will be stored for as long as you are enrolled at the university, subject to the same retention exceptions described above. If you wish, we can delete your data immediately at any time.
5. Disclosure of data to third parties: Your personal data will be shared with third parties directly involved in the application process, among others: the translator, the notary, the Slovak Ministry of Education, companies and persons who directly support us in arranging the study place, and the university to which you are applying.

IV. Supervision During the First Semesters

1. Description and scope of data processing: If you are admitted to study at one of the universities, we collect, for the purpose of supervision under the contractual obligations: salutation, first name, last name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, and the first and last names of your parents.
2. Legal basis for the processing: The permissibility of this collection is based on Article 6 (1)(b) DSGVO, in fulfilment of our contractual obligation.
3. Duration of storage: Your personal data will be stored for as long as you are enrolled at the university. If you wish, we can delete your data immediately at any time.
4. Disclosure of data to third parties: Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent during your studies.

V. Data Subjects' Rights

You have the right to withdraw consent under Article 7(3) GDPR, to request information about the data we process under Article 15 GDPR, to correct your stored data under Article 16 GDPR, and to request deletion of your personal data under Article 17 GDPR. You also have the right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, to a corresponding communication in that regard, and the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR.

VI. Right of Objection

Insofar as your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6 (1)(f) DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing under Article 21 DSGVO where grounds arise from your particular situation.
