Admission process

To apply for the 6-Year MD Program at the Medical University of Białystok, candidates must be high school graduates eligible for university admission and have positive grades in at least two of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics. The admission process includes academic evaluation (100 points based on high school grades) and an interview (100 points, testing knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English). Applicants must submit a completed application, High School Certificate (with Apostille or legalized copy), Medical Certificate, passport copy, and proof of medical insurance. Candidates from EU, OECD, or EFTA countries, or with IB/EB diplomas, do not require additional recognition, while others must go through a nostrification process. All documents must be in English or Polish. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

When does the admission start and end?

Admission starts on December 1 and ends on August 31.

I don’t have my final grades yet. Can I apply with my predicted grades?

Yes, you can apply with predicted grades or grades from first semester.

Do you offer any scholarships?

After first year of studies, you can apply for a Rector’s scholarship for best students.

Can I pay tuition fee in instalments?

Yes, you can pay in two instalments. In exceptional situations students can pay in 3 instalments, but it is required to receive Vice-Dean’s written consent.

Do you offer psychological help in English for students?

Yes, counselling is provided by the university at no charge to the student. Our counsellor is a fully trained clinical psychologist and a native speaker of English.

Do I need a PESEL number?

You don’t necessarily need a PESEL number, it is not obligatory, but it may make things a bit easier if you want to apply for the National Health Fund (NFZ) Medical insurance.

Does Medical University of Bialystok offer Dentistry studies in English?

Currently the only program that MUB offers in English Is 6-year Medicine program.

Is a dormitory available?

A lot of English Division students stay in one of the MUB dormitories which is located in the campus, within 5-min walking distance from the hospitals. The number of available rooms is limited so we advise to apply when it’s confirmed that you got accepted.
