Serbia follows the European (Bologna) system, and its MD is a six-year, 360-ECTS degree. This gives the qualification strong international standing and supports mobility across Europe after the relevant licensing steps.

NMC & WDOMS Recognition

Leading Serbian faculties are listed on the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, as well as the WHO and FAIMER, so graduates can sit the FMGE / NExT.

English-Medium Teaching

The international MD programme is taught in English, so Indian students can follow the curriculum, textbooks and examinations without a language barrier, while learning Serbian for clinical interaction.

Long Academic Heritage

The University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine was founded in 1920 and has graduated over 30,000 doctors, giving Serbia a century-old tradition of rigorous medical education.
