Important: MBBS in Uzbekistan is a direct-entry programme after Class 12, not a graduate-entry degree. The six-year course includes clinical training integrated into the final years, and progression is governed by university and Ministry of Health examinations before the degree is awarded.

Students must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and must have qualified NEET-UG, which the NMC makes mandatory for Indian students studying medicine abroad.

Age Requirement
Candidates must meet the following criterion at the time of admission:
- Minimum age 17Applicants must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
Entrance & Application Requirements
Indian applicants must have a valid NEET-UG result; most Uzbek universities do not require a separate entrance test or IELTS / TOEFL.
NEET-UG
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test — mandatory for Indian students and required for later FMGE / NExT eligibility.
Class 12 Merit + University Application
Admission is offered on Class 12 marks and NEET score through the university application / invitation process; no IELTS or TOEFL is usually required as teaching is in English.
For Students Planning to Return to India: NEET-UG is required before admission, not just afterwards, because the National Medical Commission (NMC) makes it compulsory for any Indian student pursuing MBBS abroad. After graduating, you must also clear the FMGE (or the NExT, once implemented) to obtain registration and practise in India.
