UP NEET UG round 2 allotment lands 25 September

The round 2 schedule was revised on 20 September

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training cancelled the rescheduled first round and issued fresh round 2 dates on 20 September 2026.

Choice filling closes at 11 am on 24 September

The round 2 merit list came out on 21 September 2026. Online choice filling runs from 2 pm that day until 11 am on 24 September 2026.

Allotment on 25 September, admission to 1 October

The allotment result is due on 25 September 2026. Allotment letters can be downloaded and admission completed between 26 September and 1 October 2026.

Four government colleges are out of round 2

Ambedkarnagar, Kannauj, Jalaun and Saharanpur stay out of the second and later rounds until the Supreme Court decides the reservation matter.

Not joining forfeits the whole security money

A candidate allotted a seat in round 2 who does not take admission forfeits the entire security money, and has to deposit it again to join round 3.

The stray round is only for unallotted candidates

Only candidates never allotted a seat in any UP round qualify for the stray vacancy round, and fresh registration with the fee is compulsory.
