The PwD portal opened on 1 October

The primary board closes on 9 October
The Primary Medical Assessment Board stays open from 1 October to 5 pm on 9 October. Candidates are asked to visit the primary assessment centre inside that window.
The appeal board runs to 12 October
The Appellate Medical Assessment Board assesses candidates from 10 am on 5 October to 5 pm on 12 October. The appeal process sits in the PG Information Bulletin.
The reservation is five per cent
Reservation under the PwD category is 5 per cent in central universities, covering the 21 benchmark disabilities set out in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
A certificate from a listed board is needed
To claim the 5 per cent in PG seats of government central medical institutions, you need an eligibility certificate from a designated assessment board on that list.
Delhi handles every speciality on appeal
Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi is the appellate board for all specialities. Regional boards cover fewer, such as IPGME&R in Kolkata.
