The Medical Counselling Committee published the stray round result on 19 October 2026. A candidate holding an allotted seat has until 26 October 2026 to report at that college.

2,570 students lost seats last round

We counted the Medical Counselling Committee list of candidates who did not report after Round 3. It runs to 272 pages and names 2,570 roll numbers.

Joining in person is what counts

The Medical Counselling Committee wrote that candidates who did not join their allotted college physically cannot claim those seats, as Round 3 reporting closed on 9 October.

Registration and choice filling are over

Stray round registration closed at 4 pm on 16 October 2026, payment at 6 pm and choice filling at 11:55 pm the same night. Reporting is the only thing still open.

The schedule was already extended once

The Medical Counselling Committee extended the stray round in a notice dated 14 October 2026, pushing registration, payment, choice filling and locking to 16 October 2026.
