NEET UG round 3 choice filling closes 28 September

Registration closes at 3 pm on 27 September

MCC opened round 3 registration on 22 September. It closes at 3 pm on 27 September 2026, with the payment window open until 6 pm that day.

Locking opens the evening before the deadline

Choice filling runs from 23 September to 12 noon on 28 September 2026. Locking opens at 7 pm on 27 September and ends at that same noon deadline.

Result on 30 September, reporting to 9 October

Allotment is processed on 28 and 29 September. The result comes on 30 September 2026 and reporting at the allotted college runs from 1 to 9 October.

State round 3 runs on its own dates

State counselling for round 3 runs from 28 September to 9 October 2026, with 14 October as the last date to join, on the schedule MCC issued on 14 September.

Round 3 is where free exit ends

A candidate allotted a seat in round 3 has to join it. There is no resignation from round 3, and joining closes off any later counselling.

Not reporting costs the security deposit

A round 3 allottee who does not report at the allotted institute exits with the security deposit forfeited and drops out of the rounds that follow.
