Final Result Declared
MCC declared the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 final seat allotment result on August 24 at mcc.nic.in. It closes a sequence that ran from the provisional result on August 20 through two revisions.
Seat Count Held at 29,945
The total allotted stayed unchanged at 29,945 MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing seats across every revision. Only individual allotments moved.
Float Candidates Go Fully Online
Candidates who chose Float and want an upgrade now upload documents for online verification by the allotted institute. No physical visit to the college is needed.
Freeze Means Reporting in Person
Candidates who chose Freeze must report physically to the allotted college with original documents for verification and admission.
You Can Now Resign Online
MCC has introduced an online seat resignation facility. Candidates surrendering an allotted seat submit it through the counselling portal within the deadline instead of visiting the institute.
Report by August 31
Allotted candidates must complete reporting by August 31. Candidates who received no seat in Round 1 automatically become eligible for the next round.
Round 2 Runs Right Behind
Round 2 registration is expected from August 25, with the allotment result on September 5. Settle your Freeze or Float position before Round 2 choice locking.
