NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Result Lands on 24 October

The MCC publishes the Round 1 seat allotment for NEET PG 2026 on 24 October. Reporting runs from 26 October to 2 November. Here is what each date means and the one rule that protects your deposit.

Choice locking closed at 10 am on 22 October

Registration ended at noon on 21 October and choice locking at 10 am on 22 October. Choices not locked by then were auto-locked as filled. The MCC processes allotment on 22 and 23 October.

Result on 24 October, on mcc.nic.in

The Round 1 allotment list is published on 24 October 2026. Log in with your NEET PG roll number and password, download the allotment letter and read the seat, institute and quota line by line.

Reporting window: 26 October to 2 November

You must report in person to the allotted institute between 26 October and 2 November 2026 with originals. Institutes verify joined candidates' data on 3 November. Late reporting is treated as not joined.

Round 1 is the only round with a free exit

A candidate who does not join a Round 1 allotment loses nothing and can take part in Round 2 with the same registration. From Round 2 onwards, not joining forfeits the security deposit.

Freeze or float decides your Round 2

Choosing freeze at reporting means you keep the seat and leave counselling. Choosing float means you join now but stay in Round 2 for upgradation, and an upgraded seat replaces the old one automatically.

Documents to carry when reporting

NEET PG admit card and scorecard, allotment letter, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, internship completion certificate, permanent or provisional registration, category certificate where claimed, and photo ID.
