NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Reporting: Dates and Documents
MCC published the NEET PG 2026 Round 1 result on 24 October, listing 28,723 allotted seats. Reporting runs from 26 October to 2 November 2026. Here is what to carry and how Freeze and Float work.
Report between 26 October and 2 November 2026
The MCC PG schedule dated 7 October 2026 sets Round 1 reporting and joining from 26 October to 2 November 2026. Institutes verify joined candidates and share the data with MCC on 3 November.
Freeze means join in person, Float means online
Freeze candidates keep the Round 1 seat, report physically, get documents verified and pay the fee. Float candidates join online, upload documents and say Yes to upgradation, keeping the seat while trying Round 2.
Original documents to carry to the allotted college
Carry the MCC allotment letter, NBEMS admit card and rank letter, MBBS marksheets and degree, internship certificate (completion by 30 September 2026), medical council registration, Class 10 certificate, photo ID and any category certificate.
Skipping a Round 1 seat counts as free exit
Not reporting to a Round 1 seat is a free exit. The security deposit, Rs 25,000 for unreserved AIQ candidates, Rs 10,000 for reserved and Rs 2 lakh for deemed, stays safe, and you can join Round 2.
Round 2 result on 14 November, reporting till 23rd
Round 2 registration runs from 6 to 11 November 2026, choice filling from 7 to 12 November, the result is on 14 November and reporting is from 16 to 23 November. Not joining a Round 2 seat forfeits the deposit.
Upload documents early, the PG session starts 20 November
Both Freeze and Float candidates upload clear scans on the MCC portal, ideally within 2 to 3 days of the result, so the institute can raise queries in time. The PG academic session begins on 20 November 2026.
