MCC round 3 registration opens on 22 September

Registration runs 22 to 27 September

Round 3 registration and payment open on 22 September 2026 and close at 3 pm on 27 September 2026, with the payment window staying open until 6 pm.

Choice filling closes at noon on 28 September

Choice filling runs from 23 September to 12 noon on 28 September 2026. Locking opens at 7 pm on 27 September and ends at that same noon deadline.

Result on 30 September, reporting to 9 October

Allotment is processed on 28 and 29 September, with the result on 30 September 2026. Reporting at the allotted college runs from 1 to 9 October 2026.

A round 3 seat cannot be resigned

A candidate allotted a seat in round 3 has to join it. There is no resignation from round 3, and a candidate who joins cannot take part in any later counselling.

Not reporting forfeits the security deposit

A round 3 allottee who does not report at the allotted institute exits with the security deposit forfeited and is out of the rounds that follow.

Who has to register again for round 3

Candidates who registered earlier and got no seat need not register again. Those who resigned or did not report in round 2 fill fresh choices with full payment.
