MCC NEET PG Round 2 2026: Dates and Rules

Registration 6 to 11 November, choices to 12 November

Register and pay from 6 November to 12 noon on 11 November. Choice filling runs 7 November to 10 am on 12 November, when unlocked choices lock automatically.

Result on 14 November, join by 23 November

The DGHS schedule fixes the Round 2 result for 14 November 2026 and reporting from 16 to 23 November. Institutes send joined candidate data to MCC on 24 November.

Did not register in Round 1? Register fresh now

Fresh registration in Round 2 is only for candidates who skipped Round 1. Everyone registered in Round 1 logs in and fills fresh choices without paying again.

Upgrading from Round 1? Say Yes and choose Float

Only Round 1 joinees who gave willingness for upgradation can be moved. If upgraded, the Round 1 seat is cancelled at once, with no claim on it afterwards.

Free exit is over, Round 2 exit means forfeiture

Not joining a Round 2 seat forfeits the security deposit: Rs 25,000 for UR and EWS, Rs 10,000 for reserved categories, Rs 2 lakh for deemed seats.

Virtual vacancies appear for the first time

Round 2 shows clear cut vacancies plus virtual vacancies, seats held by Round 1 candidates seeking upgradation. Fill a long list so the algorithm can place you when they open.
