NBEMS made the change in August
A notice dated 28 August 2026 says NBEMS has decided to conduct FMGE thrice every year instead of biannually, on a computer based platform.
Applications close at 11.55 pm on 25 September
The window for the October 2026 sitting opened at 5 pm on 11 September and closes at 11.55 pm on 25 September 2026. Late applications are not accepted.
The exam is on 31 October
FMGE October 2026 is set for 31 October 2026 on a computer based platform, with the result due by 30 November 2026.
The fee has come down
The October sitting costs Rs. 4,650 including GST, against Rs. 6,195 for the June 2026 sitting.
Your result date decides eligibility
The final examination result for the primary medical qualification must have been declared on or before 31 August 2026 to sit this session.
The January sitting has moved
The session that was set for 9 January 2027 will be rescheduled to a later date in January or February 2027, which NBEMS has yet to notify.
