The City's Fourth Medical College

BSP Medical College and Hospital is a new private medical college in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, formerly Aurangabad. The city already had one government, one private and one deemed medical college.

150 MBBS Seats

NMC approved the college with an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats. Together with 50 added at the Government Medical College on the MUHS campus in Nashik, that is around 200 new seats for Maharashtra this year.

Who Runs It

The college is run by Shiva Trust, which has operated institutes in pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, Ayurveda, homoeopathy, law and paramedical education for over two decades.

605-Bed Teaching Hospital

The attached teaching hospital has a capacity of 605 beds and covers the major clinical and para-clinical departments required for MBBS training.

Affiliation and Admission

The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Admission runs on NEET UG merit through centralised Maharashtra CET Cell counselling. Private colleges in the state take no direct admissions.

No Cutoff History Yet

Being newly established, the college has no round-wise closing rank data. Cutoff trends will appear only after it completes its first counselling cycles.

Where It Is

The campus is at Nipani-Bhalgaon on the Beed Highway in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, with separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls.
