Apostille your documents before you board

The Ministry of External Affairs charges Rs. 50 per apostille sticker, plus about Rs. 84 a document in service fees and Rs. 3 a page for scanning.

Authentication comes first, then the apostille

Documents pass through a Regional Authentication Centre before MEA will apostille them. Class 10 and 12 certificates and the NEET scorecard each need it too.

Register with the Indian mission on arrival

The Embassy of India in Yerevan asks students to register immediately on arrival. The MEA students portal, open since July 2015, does the same job online.

A hostel is not guaranteed, so ask early

Universities like Tbilisi State Medical University run no hostels of their own. In Prague, a dormitory costs about EUR 400 to 600 a month, compared with EUR 600 to 1,000 privately.

Your passport stamps become evidence later

NMC's notice of 18 March 2026 tells state medical councils to check physical attendance against passport entry and exit records before permanent registration in India.

Originals stay in your own hands

The Embassy of India advisory is blunt. The passport and original testimonials are the property of the student and should not be handed to agents or anyone else.
