Introduction
Yenepoya Medical College was founded in 1999 with approximately 100 MBBS students and became a constituent college of Yenepoya (a deemed-to-be-university) in 2009. Its MBBS intake grew to 150 in 2011 and 250 in 2023. The college offers undergraduate programs, postgraduate courses across 23 departments and super-specialty courses in 3 departments.

How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at Yenepoya (a deemed university) is through NEET-UG followed by deemed-university counselling by MCC. The ~250 seats include general management-quota, Muslim-minority-quota and NRI seats. Students register, submit documents and complete choice filling; seats are allotted via MCC. Selected candidates report to the college to complete admission formalities within the deadlines.
The student must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Subjects:
A minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biochemistry is required (category relaxations apply).

Yenepoya Medical College Hospital has 1,000+ beds and 14 operating theatres, with pharmacy, ambulance, transfusion, diagnostic and laboratory services. The academic building has separate departmental blocks, 3 lecture halls (180 capacity each), a simulation lab, an anatomy museum, departmental library, dissection halls, practical rooms and laboratories. The Yendurance Zone sports complex has international-standard grounds for football, basketball, volleyball, squash, badminton and cricket, plus a gym with imported equipment and a 150-seat Dolby Digital theatre. Available to MBBS students who are Yenepoya alumni or children of alumni — offered to two candidates on merit, covering 5% of the course fees.
For students whose parents work in the Yenepoya Group (salary ₹3–6 lakh): 50–70% fee concession for the first child and 25–35% for the second.
Central-government merit- and need-based scholarships (including for reserved categories) and Karnataka state domicile scholarships (merit- and need-based) for native students.
Apply for central scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal, state scholarships via the Karnataka portal, and institutional scholarships on the Yenepoya website.
Submit the required supporting documents with the application within the deadline.
After the authority reviews and approves eligible applications, the amount is credited directly to the student's bank account.
