Sri Venkateswara Medical College (SVMC), Tirupati is a government medical college in Tirupati, in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. It was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1960 on about 200 acres of land leased by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), and has been a government institution from its inception — one of the oldest and largest medical colleges in the state. It is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. It admits 240 MBBS students each year, filled purely on NEET-UG merit through government counselling, and also runs postgraduate MD and MS programmes across about 25 disciplines (about 146 PG seats).

The Government sanctioned the college on 9 April 1960; the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) leased about 200 acres of land, and the college was inaugurated on 25 July 1960. It has been a government institution from the start.
