Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) is a government medical college in Silchar, in the Barak Valley of southern Assam. Established in 1968 (founded 1960), it is the main tertiary teaching hospital for the Barak Valley and also serves parts of neighbouring Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya.
