Established in 1925 (with roots in the Temple Medical School of 1874 and the former Prince of Wales Medical College), it is one of the oldest and largest medical colleges in India. Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at Patna Medical College is entirely through NEET-UG merit. As a government college, seats are filled through two routes: the 15% All India Quota via MCC counselling and the 85% Bihar state quota via the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Bihar (BCECEB/UGMAC counselling).
