How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at NRI Medical College is entirely through NEET-UG merit, with counselling conducted by Dr. NTR / Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences for Andhra Pradesh. Seats are filled across categories: the convener (state) quota at low fees with local/domicile rules, the management (open private management) quota at higher fees, and the NRI quota. Candidates apply through the state counselling process and choose NRI Medical College on NEET-UG rank, subject to the quota and category rules.
The student must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects, from a recognised board.
Subjects:
Minimum qualifying-exam marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together: 50% for General/EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwBD candidates (per NEET-UG norms).
| Category | Minimum PCB % |
|---|---|
| General / EWS | 50% |
| OBC / SC / ST | 40% |
| PwBD | 45% |
The student must be at least 17 years old as on 31 December of the year of admission.
The student must have qualified NEET-UG in the same year, meeting the category percentile cut-off. Convener-quota seats require Andhra Pradesh local/domicile status; management and NRI quotas have their own eligibility and documentation.
