How to Apply
Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at MIMS is entirely through NEET-UG merit, with counselling conducted by Dr. NTR / Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences for Andhra Pradesh. Seats are filled across categories: the convener (state) quota at low fees with local/domicile rules, the management (open private management) quota at higher fees, and the NRI quota. Candidates apply through the state counselling process and choose MIMS on NEET-UG rank, subject to the quota and category rules.

Academic Qualification
The student must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects, from a recognised board.

The attached MIMS General Hospital is a teaching hospital serving the Vizianagaram region, with an emergency department, OPD and IPD services, intensive-care units, operating theatres and diagnostics. The campus also provides sports facilities including an indoor court, separate hostels for male, female and NRI students, and mess and dining facilities.

Career Pathways After MBBS at MIMS, Vizianagaram
Graduates are eligible for NEET-PG to pursue MD, MS and diploma programmes across India; MIMS itself offers PG seats across several departments, so many graduates can specialise on the same campus.
