How to Apply
Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at KIMS is entirely through NEET-UG merit, with counselling conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for Andhra Pradesh. Seats are filled across categories: the convener (state) quota at low fees with local/domicile rules, the management (open private management) quota at higher fees, and the NRI quota. Candidates apply through the state counselling process and choose KIMS on NEET-UG rank, subject to the quota and category rules.

Academic Qualification
The student must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects, from a recognised board.

Career Pathways After MBBS at KIMS, Amalapuram
Graduates are eligible for NEET-PG to pursue MD, MS and diploma programmes across India; KIMS itself offers PG seats across several departments, so many graduates can specialise on the same campus.
After the compulsory rotating internship, KIMS graduates register with the NMC or their State Medical Council to practise. They can then specialise through NEET PG (MD, MS or DNB) and go on to DM or MCh super-specialty training through NEET SS.
