How to Apply

Admission Process for MBBS

Admission to MBBS at KIMS Karad (a deemed university) is through NEET-UG followed by the All India Deemed University counselling conducted by MCC. All seats — including management-quota and NRI-quota seats — are filled through this counselling. Students register, complete choice filling and may take part in multiple rounds; after seat allotment, they report to the college to complete admission formalities and pay the year's fees.

The three-floor Learning Resource Centre seats ~666 (52,000 print resources, 34,000 e-books, 37,500 e-journals, 15 e-databases); the 1,000-seat auditorium spans ~680.74 sq m; there is a yoga centre, a ~1,400 sq m amphitheatre, three gymnasiums, a ~6,500 sq m sports complex, outdoor courts and a half-Olympic-sized swimming pool.

KIMS Karad was started in 1984, established by the Krishna Charitable Trust — founded by Jaywantrao Bhosale in 1974 for rural healthcare.

From Krishna Charitable Hospital (1982)

The Krishna Charitable Hospital was started in 1982 with approximately 200 beds, forming the clinical base for the medical college.

Deemed University & Expansion

The institution was granted deemed-to-be-university status in 2005 and was renamed Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth in 2022, expanding its MBBS intake from the initial 100 to 250 seats.
