Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal is a government medical college in Haryana, named after the Karnal-born astronaut Kalpana Chawla. Approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated to Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, it admits 120 MBBS students a year on NEET-UG merit and also runs postgraduate (MD/MS) programmes. It is not currently placed in the NIRF Medical top 50. How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal is entirely through NEET-UG merit. Seats are filled purely on NEET-UG merit through two routes: the 15% All India Quota via MCC counselling and the 85% Haryana state quota through DMER Haryana (state counselling). There is no management or NRI quota.
