Introduction
JSS Medical College is a constituent college of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSSAHER), accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC. Started in 1984, it was affiliated with the University of Mysore until 1995 and is now affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It has consistently ranked among India's best medical colleges, securing 37th in NIRF 2025 (medical category). How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at JSS is through NEET-UG. Qualified students register on the MCC website for counselling under the deemed-university category, complete choice filling (typically in the second round), and seats are allotted by MCC based on cut-off and availability. Allotted students report to the college within the timeline to confirm admission. International applicants (NRI, OCI, PIO, foreign nationals) are also eligible.
The student must have completed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
