How to Apply
Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at Guntur Medical College is through NEET-UG followed by counselling. NEET-qualified students participate in counselling — about 85% of seats are filled by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (AP state quota) and 15% through All India Quota counselling by MCC. Students register, fill the college name in choice filling and lock it; seats are allotted on NEET rank, availability, and reservation; and allotted students report physically to confirm their seat.

Founded in 1946
Guntur Medical College's journey began when the Government of Madras issued an order on 22 June 1946 for the college to start functioning from 1 July 1946. The first batch had about 50 students, and Mrs. Achanta Rukmini Lakshmipathi, then health minister, played an important role in its establishment.
