Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial (GSVM) Medical College, Kanpur, established in 1955, is Uttar Pradesh's most prominent industrial-city government medical college and one of the largest government institutions in the Kanpur–Prayagraj zone. Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at GSVM is through NEET-UG. Of the 250 seats, 85% are Uttar Pradesh state-quota seats filled by UPGMEC and 15% are All India Quota seats filled through MCC. Seats are allotted on NEET rank, reservation and UP domicile (for state quota); allotted students report to confirm the seat.
