Government Medical College, Surat, was founded in 1964. It is affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and recognised by the National Medical Commission. How to Apply

Admission Process for MBBS

Admission to MBBS at GMC Surat is through NEET-UG followed by counselling. Of the ~250 seats, 15% are filled under the All India Quota (MCC) and 85% under the Gujarat state quota by ACPUGMEC. Students register on the counselling portal, list GMC Surat as their top choice and lock it; seats are allotted on NEET rank, preference, category and availability. Allotted students report to the college to complete admission formalities, including fee payment and document verification.
