Government Medical College, Kozhikode — also known as Calicut Medical College — is a public medical college in Kerala and the state's second medical college. Previously affiliated with the University of Calicut, it is now affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at GMC Kozhikode requires qualifying NEET-UG, which makes a student eligible for counselling. Students apply through the All India Quota (via MCC) or the Kerala State Quota (via the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala). Counselling involves choice filling and locking and seat allotment based on NEET rank, reservation, and availability; allotted students report to the college with documents to complete admission. The college offers approximately 250 MBBS seats each year.

Government Medical College, Kozhikode, was founded in 1957 — the second government medical college in Kerala. Its foundation stone was laid by Governor Ramakrishna Rao, and it was inaugurated by the then Health Minister A. R. Menon.
