How to Apply

Admission Process for MBBS

Admission to MBBS at GMC Akola is through NEET-UG followed by counselling. Of the 200 seats, 15% are filled via the All India Quota and 85% are reserved for the Maharashtra State Quota (CET Cell). After qualifying NEET-UG, students register, fill choices, and seats are allotted on NEET rank, reservation guidelines and availability; allotted students report to the college to confirm the seat and complete admission formalities.

The ~840-bed teaching hospital has a new Medicine ward and a Super Specialty Wing. There are about 4 lecture halls (three of 180 seats, one of 350), two demo rooms per department (75 students each), a 700-seat auditorium, a surgery-department skill lab, an accident & emergency department, a blood bank, a diagnostic centre and special ICUs. The central library spans ~2,600 sq m (22,733 books, 101 journals) with separate reading rooms; sports facilities are limited (a volleyball court and cricket pitch, with a gym in the boys' hostel).
