How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at GMC is conducted entirely through NEET-UG merit. The 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are filled through MCC counselling at mcc.nic.in; the remaining 85% fall under Assam State Quota, counselled by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam. State-quota eligibility requires Assam permanent residence (or being a child of an All India Service officer serving in Assam) and continuous study in Classes 7–12 in Assam. Candidates from neighbouring northeastern states may compete for AIQ seats but are not eligible for Assam state quota unless they meet domicile criteria.
