The Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences (FIMS), Kadapa is a private medical college in Andhra Pradesh, run by the Mohammadiya Educational Society as a Muslim minority institution. Established in 2010 and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in 2016, it is located at Kadapa in the YSR Kadapa district of the Rayalaseema region and is affiliated to Dr. NTR / Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. The college admits 100 MBBS students each year and also runs postgraduate MD and MS programmes. How to Apply
Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at FIMS is entirely through NEET-UG merit, with counselling conducted by Dr. NTR / Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences for Andhra Pradesh. Seats are filled across three categories: the convener (A) quota at low fees with local/domicile rules, the management (B) quota at higher fees, and the NRI (C) quota. As a minority institution, FIMS also operates minority-community reservation within the applicable rules. Candidates apply through the state counselling process and choose FIMS on NEET-UG rank, subject to the quota and category rules.
