Dr. Kiran C. Patel Medical College and Research Institute is a self-financed medical college set up under a public-private partnership with the Government of Gujarat, at Bharuch, Gujarat. Established in 2020, it is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, and admits 150 MBBS students a year on NEET-UG merit. It does not currently feature in the NIRF Medical top 50. Clinical training runs at the attached New Civil Hospital, Bharuch (around ~300 beds).

How to Apply
Admission to MBBS at Dr. Kiran C. Patel Medical College and Research Institute is entirely through NEET-UG merit. As a self-financed college in Gujarat, seats are filled through state-quota counselling by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat, together with management and NRI quota seats.
The student must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects, from a recognised board.

Minimum qualifying-exam marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together: 50% for General/EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwBD candidates (per NEET-UG norms).

Dr. Kiran C. Patel Medical College, Bharuch was established in 2020 under Gujarat's public-private partnership (brownfield) model, using the Bharuch New Civil Hospital for clinical training. It is named after NRI cardiologist-philanthropist Dr. Kiran C. Patel.
Dr. Kiran C. Patel Medical College and Research Institute admits 150 MBBS students a year on NEET-UG merit, affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, and approved by the NMC.
New Civil Hospital, Bharuch, with around ~300 beds, is the college's teaching hospital and a major care centre for Bharuch and south Gujarat, giving students steady clinical exposure.
