Andhra Medical College (AMC), Visakhapatnam, established in 1923 and affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), is Andhra Pradesh's oldest medical college. It admits 250 MBBS students annually and trains them at King George Hospital (KGH): a ~1,700+ bed apex tertiary centre for north coastal AP and south Odisha. How to Apply
Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at AMC is through NEET-UG. Of the 250 seats, 85% are Andhra Pradesh state-quota seats filled by APMEDAC / Dr. NTRUHS (EAMCET-integrated medical counselling), and 15% are All India Quota seats filled through MCC. Seats are allotted on NEET rank, reservation and AP domicile (for state quota); allotted students report to confirm the seat.
