Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to MBBS at AIIMS Patna is based on NEET-UG, followed by counselling rounds. The institute offers approximately 125 seats each year. Only NEET-UG-qualified students are eligible for counselling, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats. AIIMS Patna Hospital is an approximately 1,331-bed hospital that originally started as a mini hospital in the AYUSH PMR Block. It has a helipad facility on campus and receives about 3,000–4,000 OPD cases daily.
The central library holds approximately 9,664+ books across 35+ departments and has a separate computer lab to support study-related queries with technology.
A 3D Lab on campus works as a service delivery and skill development centre for the institution.
Recreational facilities include indoor and outdoor sports zones (a volleyball court, a TT room, a football ground, a cricket ground, and others) along with common rooms with television and an auditorium.
There are 11 hostel campuses in total, 7 for male students and 4 for female students, and both the girls' and boys' wings have three dining halls each with multiple facilities.
