Admission Process for MBBS
Admission to AIIMS Jodhpur is based on NEET-UG, the mandatory central medical examination. Qualified students participate in counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the All India Quota. AIIMS Jodhpur's establishment began with a Lok Sabha bill introduced in August 2012, later replaced by an Ordinance that ordered the formation of six AIIMS institutions to start operating from September 2012. It was set up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as an Institute of National Importance.
