All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Guwahati (AIIMS Guwahati) is a centrally funded Institute of National Importance at Changsari, in the Kamrup (Rural) district near Guwahati, Assam. Sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) in 2017, it admitted its first MBBS batch of 50 students in January 2021 and was formally inaugurated on 14 April 2023 by the Prime Minister. Admission Process for MBBS

AIIMS Guwahati was sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) in 2017. It admitted its first MBBS batch of 50 students in January 2021, shifted to its permanent 189-acre Changsari campus in 2022, and was formally inaugurated on 14 April 2023 by the Prime Minister.
