How to Apply
AIIMS Delhi admission 2025 is entirely entrance-based for all programs. For MBBS, candidates must qualify for NEET-UG conducted by NTA and participate in MCC All India Quota counselling.
The student must have passed Class 12 or equivalent.

History
AIIMS Delhi was created out of a larger dream to build a world-class medical institution for independent India. The idea first came up in 1946, when a government health survey recommended setting up a centre that could match global standards in medical education and research.

Housing
The hostels provide a safe, supportive environment that helps students focus on their medical studies while enjoying campus life.
AIIMS Delhi provides hostel accommodation for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The institute has 21 hostel buildings spread across the Ansari Nagar, Masjid Moth, Raj Nagar, and Ayurvigyan Nagar campuses.
Each hostel block is managed by resident wardens and caretakers, with round-the-clock security keeping students safe on campus.
Rooms are equipped with beds, cupboards, study tables, chairs, and bookshelves. Most hostels have shared bathrooms, while a few offer attached toilets.
Additional services such as canteens, juice shops, an Amul outlet, laundry services, stationery shops, barber and beauty services, and courier access are available nearby.
The hostels provide mess facilities serving regular meals, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options depending on the block.

Scholarship & Financial
AIIMS Delhi keeps medical education within reach through institutional, alumni-funded, and government scholarships that support students on the basis of merit and financial need. The main options include:
This scholarship is awarded to eligible MBBS students based on academic performance and financial need. It provides financial assistance as per the institute norms and applicable eligibility criteria.
Funded by the official AIIMS alumni association (AIIMSONIANS), this scholarship supports selected students on the basis of merit and financial need. The assistance is granted annually as per alumni trust guidelines.
Eligible students may apply for various Central and State Government scholarship schemes, including Post-Matric scholarships for SC, ST, OBC, and Minority categories. These scholarships may cover tuition fees and other academic expenses, subject to government norms.
Institutional scholarships can be applied for through the AIIMS Delhi Academic Section as per official notifications.
Government scholarships must be applied for via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
