Established in 2014, the college is set on a campus of about 67.5 acres in SPSR Nellore district and is affiliated to Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It admits 175 MBBS students each year and, since 2022, also runs postgraduate MD and MS programmes. How to Apply

Admission Process for MBBS

Admission to MBBS at ACSR GMC Nellore is entirely through NEET-UG merit. Of the 175 seats, 15% fall under the All India Quota, allotted through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the DGHS, Government of India, and 85% fall under the Andhra Pradesh state quota, counselled by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences. State-quota seats follow Andhra Pradesh reservation rules and require local/domicile status. There is no private or NRI quota at this government college.
