Sri Venkateswara Medical College, also popularly known as SVMC Tirupati, is a leading medical college in India, established in 1960 by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The vision of the founders was to meet the evolving needs of the medical professionals in Andhra Pradesh.

In the starting years, it was affiliated with the Andhra University; later on, it became an integral part of the NTR University of Health Sciences, and currently it operates under YSR University. It has started with an enrolment of 100 MBBS candidates and has now increased for the general category, reservation categories, and NRI categories.

Eligibility criteria

Admission procedure

The admission process to secure a place in the college involves various steps, which include –
