Exam Pattern

The NEET exam pattern states that it is a paper-pencil-based test (PBT) or offline test of three hours and 20 minutes in duration. The exam will consist of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, out of which 180 questions have to be attempted. The questions will be objective-type and carry multiple choices or four answer options. The correct answer option has to be marked by shading the corresponding circle on the OMR sheet with a blue/black ballpoint pen.

According to the NEET 2024 exam pattern and structure, each subject will be divided into two sections, Section A and Section B, carrying 35 and 15 questions, respectively. While it is compulsory to attempt all 35 questions in Section A, in Section B, candidates will have to attempt 10 out of 15 questions. The final NEET paper pattern will be announced by NTA along with the notification and information brochure. Given the changes in the syllabus and eligibility criteria, there are chances that the NEET exam pattern 2024 may change as well.
