History

Kakatiya Medical College in the Warangal district of Telangana was established in 1959 and started its operations in the temporary buildings on the campus of the Government Arts and Science College. After that, it shifted to the permanent campus on Rangampet Street.

In the early days, the college was affiliated with Osmania University, which further shifted to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. The college is also well recognised by the National Medical Commission. MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)

Eligibility criteria

Admission in Kakatiya Medical College

Admission process

Kakatiya Medical College follows a merit-based admission process, which includes –

  • Candidates need to first qualify for NEET UG/NEET PG and secure a good rank in it.

  • Qualified candidates can register themselves with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats. As the college is in Telangana, the State Quota registration will take place via Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS)
